We are actively searching for a General AffairsAdministrative Assistant to handle a variety of functions for the Business Services Group (BSG) located in Atlanta, Georgia. This is a contractor role paid on a salaried non-exempt basis, for indefinite duration and is on site. In addition to supporting the President with travel planning, agenda planning, itinerary planning, accounts and expense reconciling, this position will serve as the front office receptionist, greeting visitors and handling routine front and back office requests from planning and HR. As the BSG’s General Affairs associate, your contribution towards the following responsibilities will have an important impact on the expansion and success of LG Chem Life Sciences Innovation Center.

Responsibilities: Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Complete a variety of administrative tasks for the President as well as planning and HR;
  • Manage calendars; coordinate and schedule appointments and meetings
  • Plan and organize domestic/international travel itineraries and accommodations, submit and reconcile expenses against receipts
  • Draft, review and send communications on behalf of the President, planning and HR
  • Answer phone calls and respond to e-mails; communicate messages and information to the President and executives
  • Prepare memos, meeting minutes, letters, reports, presentations and agendas as needed
  • Maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive information
  • Receive and greet visitors, and direct them to the appropriate personnel or location
  • Maintain the office condition and arrange necessary repairs
  • Order and stock office supplies, resources, snacks and beverages and maintain tracker of supply inventory to ensure supplies are on hand when needed
  • Manage monthly lease and equipment payments and track when due
  • Manage the coordination of small projects related to variety of office related items, such as furniture moves, lease coordination on new space with legal department and stakeholders
  • Handle building inquiries, requests and suite issues requiring resolution with building management
  • Other general administrative duties may be assigned as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience in lieu of a degree
  • 2 or more years of experience supporting senior leaders and administrative experience required
  • Basic project management experience required
  • General office administrative experience required
  • Basic accounting knowledge
  • Basic facilities management knowledge
  • Knowledge of and ability to learn IT systems quickly
  • Ability and desire to work onsite (Buckhead GA) Monday through Friday from 8 am – 5 pm.
