Gate Access Control Technician

Job Description: Full Time Technician working 40 hours per week. 4 days per week, 10-hour days. Salary $25-$30/hour DOE. In order to make $30 an hour, candidate must already have extensive experience and be autonomous in gate operator maintenance and troubleshooting (zero ramp up time). Basic electrical/low-voltage experience preferred. Ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a minimum of two years of experience in Gate Automation, Security Camera Installation, Garage Door Installation, Fire Alarm Installation, HVAC or other technical skilled trade.

Requirements: Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs and work outdoors in Arizona temperatures. Employees of Dezert Gate Systems LLC are required to have a valid driver's license, proof of insurance and a clean driving record. Applicants must be willing to complete a full background check including drug testing. Summer weather in Arizona can be extreme. Ideal candidate would have experience working outdoors in Arizona summer heat.

Duties: Gate Technicians are versatile in their skill set. Daily activities can include, but not limited to, maintenance of gates/operators, trouble shooting, installation, some light fabrication, minor concrete work, loop replacements, Access Control installation/maintenance, telephone entry and other duties as assigned.
