Gardening Lead

We are a garden maintenance company caring for beautifully manicured estates in Denver. We work in the way a three star restaurant does, where the care of the garden is total, and the desire of the clients come first. This gardening company has a hospitality leaning, so we are able to provide a unique and tailored service for each individual client. We also want all our employees to be proud of the work they create and the beauty we bring. We are looking for people who love to work hard, want a physical job instead of sitting behind a computer, love working with their hands and appreciate great design. We are currently hiring a team member who can lead a small crew (lots of weeding, pruning, and planting). Horticultural knowledge with a willingness to work hard and learn is key. We value an eye for detail, organization, and professional presentation.

General Duties:

• Maintain and care for gardens and outdoor spaces
• Perform regular groundskeeping tasks such as weeding and deadheading
• Plant, water, and fertilize annuals, perennials, shrubs, and trees
• Maintain plant health and appearance
• Maintain garden structures such as trellises and pathways
• Supervise and train other gardeners
• Ensure irrigation systems are functioning effectively
• Monitor and control pests and diseases that may affect plants

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in landscape maintenance and gardening
• Knowledge of different plant species, their care requirements, and common pests.
• Ability to operate gardening tools and equipment safely
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a neat and organized outdoor space
• Excellent leadership skills to supervise other gardeners
• Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods of time
• Good communication skills to effectively communicate with clients or team members
• Clean driving record and background check required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
