We service many plant suppliers inside Walmart, Home Depot, Costco and Sam’s Club. As a Merchandiser you will be responsible for the maintenance of Garden Center products. This will include: placing, organizing, caring for and merchandising a variety of live goods. While reporting to your the Area Manager. Merchandisers must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while handling a large quantity of perishable product. While you will report to an Area Manager, being able to work with minimal supervision while still being efficient is key to succeed in this role.
Merchandisers will be hired as seasonal employees. In most cases this includes hours from April to end of June/beginning of July but is subject to location, sales, weather and seasonal needs. Due to seasonality of our business, hours will fluctuate during this time period.
We are looking for both Full-Time and Part-Time hours from merchandisers. Area Manager will coordinate the needs along with your availability.
Essential Job Duties:
· Merchandising of live good products
· Pull/Push racks of product
· Consolidate and Cull plants according to standards set by manager
· Place product in designated area for optimal presentation
· Work in a fast-paced environment and be able to make quick decisions
· Maintain calm and positive attitude towards all customers, associates, managers, and co-workers
· Report daily to Area Manager: Needs, Issues, Opportunities, etc.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
