What does your day look like?
- Strategically procure and order inventory including plant material, landscape material, soils, fertilizers, tools, garden accessories, etc.- anticipating needs for future products
- Provide advice and expertise in horticulture and gardening to our team and clients
- Merchandise inventory and create beautiful product displays
- Manage overall retail store
- Implement new and exciting marketing or event ideas to grow clientele
What do we need from you?
Must haves
- Ability to exceed expectations for all five of our core values
- Minimum 2 years experience in a customer service role
- Minimum 1 years experience in a managerial role
- Horticulture Diploma or equivalent preferred, if you don’t have this, then you have a passion and proven knowledge for the landscaping and horticulture industry
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays in our busy season
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds repetitively and work in all weather conditions
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, email and calendar
Additional assets that you may have
- Ability to operate skid steer, or willingness to learn through our in-house training program
- Knowledge of differing soil types, fertilizers/pesticides, and overall plant management

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
