Star City Garage Doors is a leading Garage Door company servicing Roanoke, Lynchburg, and Smith Mountain Lake. We are a small company of people who pride ourselves on delivering high-quality solutions and superior customer service.
We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Garage Door Apprentice. As an apprentice, you will work alongside experienced Garage Door professionals to learn the ins and outs of Garage Door installation, repair, and maintenance. This hands-on training will provide you with the skills and knowledge needed to grow and advance in this dynamic industry.
Responsibilities
- Assist service technicians and installers with repairing, installing, and servicing Garage Doors and openers
- Learn how to troubleshoot common Garage Door issues and recommend appropriate solutions
- Communicate effectively with customers and fellow team members
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
Requirements
- Familiarity with basic hand tools and power tools
- Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and operations
- Willingness to learn and develop skills in a specific and niche trade
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment
- Valid driver's license
Job Types: Full-time, Apprenticeship
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
