Gaming Expert (PR and Marketing)

Japanese Video Games Publishing Company is currently seeking ​a Japanese Bilingual Gaming Expert (PR and Marketing) to join their team! 

Position: Japanese Bilingual Gaming Expert (PR and Marketing)
Industry: Japanese Video Games Publishing Company 
Location: Santa Ana, CA / OC area
Pay: $60-85K (DOE) plus benefits
Status: Full time / Direct hire
Work Style: Hybrid 

Job Duty:
●    Develop marketing plans for our game titles by providing specific product knowledge
●    Research comparable games and how to sell them
●    Plan and host live streaming of gameplay
●    Play each game to end and pass product knowledge to the team
●    Present the games in the form of a PowerPoint or Google Slide and gameplay demo to the team
●    Play and study each game thoroughly and contribute to writing marketing text
●    Capture dynamic gameplay footage and screenshots for marketing purposes
●    Provide capture directions to Content Moderators and/or QA testers
●    May test or evaluate games
●    Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications
●    Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university; or one or two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
●    Communication, Marketing, Advertising or related field a plus
●    1+ years of experience working in a team
●    Strong ability to play video games even in Japanese
●    Strong attention to deadlines
●    Understanding of video game concepts, terms, and gameplay (in particular RPGs)
●    Proficiency with Google Suite and Microsoft Office
●    Able to travel internationally.
