Job Description
The Games Operations Supervisor will lead internal team members and external partners in the execution of inventory, logistics, and repair and maintenance of all Rise Brands Games and other inventory items. This role will require development of strong working relationships with Rise Brands home office team members as well as the location teams that make up our Pins Mechanical Co and 16Bit Bar & Arcade brands. The Games Operations Supervisor will be essential to company success by ensuring inventory operations run smoothly and our games drive experiences that delight our customers. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervision and management of Games Operations including, Inventory, Game Maintenance, Receiving, Shipping, Store Support.
- Develop and manage a program to restore, assemble, operate, and maintain all Arcade and Pinball [games] for the Pins Mechanical and 16Bit Bar/Arcade brands. Cabinet assembly, artwork, electronics/accessory repair and replacement, etc.)
- Management and oversight of game/inventory for the Rise DC and all retail locations, ensuring games remain in excellent working condition to drive an exceptional customer and team member experience.
- Manage “readiness” of all DC Game Inventory to enable the efficient replacement of location games when necessary, as well as the initial fulfillment of the game footprint for a New Store Opening (NSO); support the NSO process for all games.
- Assist Games Manager and Facilities Director to seamlessly execute the purchase, receipt, and transfer of all games to/from the DC and our retail locations.
- Oversee utilization of DC and Company software systems related to the management of inventory within the DC and its distribution to locations.
- Manage tracking of all game revenue including the systems/tools designated for that purpose.
- Collaborate with teams to help develop best practices and operating procedures for games management and training; support location team training.
- Work with Games Manager and Facilities Director to develop budgets and create management reporting for Games Operations.
- Manage internal team members as well as contractors and vendors in the execution of games maintenance and repair for both DC and location games.
- Partner with Games Manager to perform regular locations visits to inspect and repair games as well as assist location teams in troubleshooting games issues.
REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES
- Extensive experience with, and working knowledge of, the maintenance, repair and restoration of games that make up the Rise Brands collection.
- Deep expertise, and working knowledge of, at least one of the following: Retro Arcade Games, Pinball Machines, or Duckpin Bowling. Knowledge and experience with all three categories is preferred.
- Experience managing team members in the tasks outlined above or those of related/similar nature.
- Strong supervisory, management, and problem-solving skills including the ability to clearly, concisely, and confidently communicate with all levels of the Rise Team. This includes both home office and location teams, as well as external partners.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to attain business objectives.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position including the working environment of a distribution center (warehouse) as well as retail locations.
- Experience working with software systems (e.g, inventory management) as well as G Suite and/or MicroSoft Office tools. This role requires strong proficiency in utilization of documents, spreadsheets, and other collaboration tools.
- Ability to travel up to 40%
