Belmont Park encompasses a variety of attractions requiring skilled technicians to upkeep and ensure daily operations. We operate a 70+ game Arcade, 7D Movie Theater, Lazertag, Lazermaze Challenge, Bowling Alley, Escape Rooms, and much more! The Arcade Technician will support our mission by fosters a can do attitude and encourages team members to deliver world class customer service.
What will you do?

• Adheres to preventative maintenance schedules.
• Maintains Game Technician training roadmap.
• Ensures daily inspections of attractions & arcade.
• Maintains a clean working environment in Tech rooms.
• Maintains proper documentation of Games & Attractions.
• Organizes, maintains, and inventories all test equipment and major tools.
• Ensures proper payouts and redemption.
• Monitors Game networks in conjunction with Information Technology.
• Recommends game placements in the Arcade as well as replacements.
• Assists in the development of new attractions.
• Recommends game operating procedures and safety guidelines.
• Adheres to manufacturer and vendor installation recommendations.
• Assist in the recognition and acquisition of needed game parts.
• Completes any needed component-level board repairs to the limits of repair or test equipment available.
• Must demonstrate the ability to communicate with Guests and other team members.
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements
Preferred Qualifications:

• 1+ years of repairing/testing electronics.
• Basic low voltage wiring & troubleshooting knowledge.
• Soft soldering & Hot soldering experience.
• 1+ years working in an amusement park environment and/or equivalent experience.
• Previous Game/Arcade Technician experience.
• Intercard Game system experience or equivalent

Physical Requirements:

• Able to stand/walk up to eight hours at a time.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Able to move equipment which would include pushing, pulling, stooping and shoving, and bending.
• Able to work outdoors may be exposed to a variety of weather conditions such as rain, cold temperatures, direct sunlight high heat, and humidity.
• Able to work in a noisy environment.
• Ability to climb stairs.
• Able to properly handle small computers. (Scanners)
