JOB SUMMARY:
A Professional sports team in Detroit, supported by Lambert, is looking for personable, energetic, experienced team member to be their Gameday Operations Manager. The Gameday Operations Manager plays a critical role in all aspects of gameday. This person will be responsible for the entire production of the in stadium show and all on field entertainment. This role will assume the responsibility of calling the action during pregame, in game, timeouts, halftime and postgame. This person will also work closely with the production company as point of contact for all home games.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee all gameDay Operations at field level including pregame, player introductions, anthem, halftime, entertainment teams
• Point person on headset at field level working in conjunction with the gameday production crew
• Write gameday scripts, develop the ROS and be responsible for the timing of all elements on field
• Collaborate with video production, marketing, corporate partnerships, community relations, and ticketing departments to ensure messaging is consistent and on brand for every game
• Oversee all game presentation and entertainment staff including in-arena hosts, mascot, crowd crew, dance teams, game night staff, music staff, and other entertainment assets
• Hire and manage a gameday staffing crew, overseeing the budget and responsibilities of the team members on gameday
• Manage the booking and directing of the pre-game and halftime entertainment for every home game
• Lead a gameday staff meeting to ensure all elements are rehearsed and team is properly prepared
• Oversee all in game promotional elements

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2- 4 years experience at field level for a minor, college or professional sports team
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to lead a team
• Must have a hands-on, positive energy, and a great outgoing attitude.
• Must be at ease in front of a crowd.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Must be able to take direction well, follow instructions and make decisions on the spot.
• Must collaborate well in a team environment.
• Ability to deal with staff in a demanding environment, often with tight deadlines
• Ability to independently resolve issues and manage issues effectively
• Maintain disposition in stressful and busy times
• Ability to make decisions and exhibit sound and accurate judgment
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays as necessary
