CPM is a department within the College of Continuing Education at the University of Oklahoma. We provide public sector agencies, staff, service providers, clients and community partners training, research and consultant support for professional and programmatic development. We deliver cost-effective, customer-oriented solutions that are tailored to meet unique needs and situations.
The FYT coach provides advisement and case management services. These services are provided via telephone, email, video and face-to-face interactions. Conducts outreach to key stakeholders including program participants and community resources. Provides information regarding community resources. Develops relationships with relevant agencies and service providers. Maintains strict confidentiality standards. Links participants to resources to ensure successful employment outcomes. Plans and oversees special projects. Provides support of daily production activities as needed for the unit. Analyzes, recommends, and documents new processes and changes to existing processes to improve quality and efficiency of operations. Provides various duties as needed to successfully fulfill the function of the position.
Job Duties:- Contact potential program participants
- Provide coaching using approved coaching methodology
- Connect FYT participants to LMS Help Desk for account creation
- Provide support to “On My Shoulders” course facilitators
- Perform accountability partner sessions with “On My Shoulders” participants in between course sessions
- Assist FYT participants with identifying their challenges
- Assist FYT participants with developing their success plans
- Coaching FYT participants to implement success plans
This position requires a background check that involves a national search and fingerprint search to be eligible for employment. Results of the completed background check will be provided to the funding sponsor for their records.
This position may be eligible for remote or hybrid work.
Job Location
Required Education and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree, AND:
- 24 months professional experience in child support, social/government services, or office-based customer service.
Equivalency/Substitution: Will accept 48 months of related experience in lieu of the Bachelor's degree for a total of 72 months of related experience.
