Floridas Decorators Warehousing & Delivery was founded in 1997 to receive, inspect, store, and deliver furniture on behalf of nationally renowned interior designers. Additionally, we provide full-service warehousing for contractors, manufacturers, schools, hotels, restaurants and more. We have grown exponentially over our founding 27 years ago and are looking for ambitious and professional self-starters interested in Floridas booming warehouse and logistics market. Warehouse storage and distribution is one of the fastest growing businesses in the country and certainly in Southwest Florida. Given the nature of our business, our customers (and our staff) expect only the BEST in customer service! We seek candidates with a commitment to customer service and an appreciation for the challenges and variety found in the position.
Starting pay is $19.00 per hour with a guaranteed end-of-year bonus and other paid time off benefits after service intervals have been met. Typical start and end times are between 08:00 a.m. and 4:00 pm p.m. sometimes we need to stay until the job is finished could be up until 5:00pm on occasion. We offer health and dental insurance paid at 75% after 90 days of continuous employment.

The job involves freight trucks arriving at our warehouse loading dock after which we unload the furniture items from the truck, open the boxes or crates, and inspect for damage. The goods are repackaged and placed into designated areas of the warehouse. The job also involves loading trucks so our mover crews can deliver the items. You will be required to protect furniture with shrink wrap, moving pads, tape, and the like, to ensure the pieces are stored in good condition. You will also be required to assist in keeping the warehouse clean and organized.
