Furniture Store Cashier/Customer Service Rep - Part Time

Baxton Studio Outlet, a rapidly growing furniture distributor, is interviewing for a weekend (Saturday/Sunday + 1 week day) Part Time cashier and order takers for our Lombard, IL Showroom and Outlet.

Our cashiers support the retail store sales team by entering orders and assisting customers process during peak retail hours.

Typical Duties Include:

• Enter Sales into point of sale system
• Check Inventory levels
• Process credit applications
• Cash handling
• Answer phones
• Answer customer inquiries
• Filing and sorting

Requirements

• High school/college students are welcome to apply;
• 1 year or more retail experience is preferred;
• Be a team player;
• Possess good communication skills in person and phone;
• Have a positive and winning attitude;
• Must be comfortable with a PC including outlook and a web based point of sale.
• Able to work weekends and holidays (day shifts only);
• Be authorized to work for any employer in US.

Working Conditions:

• Weekend (Saturday/Sunday) 10:00am - 6:00pm + 1 week day;
• Climate-controlled retail facility;

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
