Furnace Operator

Volt is immediately hiring a Furnace Operator for a local leading organization of Electronics Manufacturing in Central San Diego.
As a Furnace Operator you will:

• Prepare equipment and ensure temperature settings are accurate
• Monitor daily operation of machinery, adjusting settings as necessary
• Manually load and unload furnaces
• Ensure that every melting operation is performed to specifications
• Performing sample tests to verify that the equipment is functional

This is a full-time Temp-To-Hire opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Speak, read, write in English
• Must comply with safety protective equipment ( shoes, gloves, mask, glasses, etc.)
• Have basic computer skills
• Ability to either stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to bend, stoop, turn, twist, and physically move about the plant
• Ability to lift and carry up to 65 pounds
• Candidates selected must meet all pre-screening eligibility requirements.
• The selected candidate will be required to provide proof of right to work in the United States.

Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday , OFF Sunday/Monday

• 2nd shift 3:15pm-11:45pm

Pay Rate: $17.60-18.35 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
