SalaryMortuary Transporter. A licensed funeral home in Millersville, Md, (Anne Arundel County) has a full-time or part-time opening for a MORTUARY TRANSPORTER.
Duties: You will transport human remains from points throughout Maryland to the funeral home. You will also act as the first in-person representative/customer service rep of our funeral home. Stellar customer service skills are a must. Looking for someone mature and empathetic who can communicate well with grieving families. You may also be trained and occasionally called upon to help around the office.
Competitive starting salary. Additional after-hours opportunities available.
Duties involve heavy lifting.
Funeral home experience preferred. Only candidates serious about the funeral profession will be considered. This position is often considered an entry point into the funeral profession.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
