JOB LOCATION:  Remote (US Based)

TRAVEL:  Up to 75% 

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The Functional Consultant will work closely with client stakeholders, design solutions with industry best practices in mind and work with technical team members to implement them.  Preferred candidates will have working experience in the utility industry and Oracle Utilities solutions including Customer Care & Billing (CC&B), Customer to Meter (C2M) and Meter Data Management (MDM).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create and maintain client relationships – Product Consultants may be directly responsible for communicating with i3-Verticals clients regarding new functionality being developed, and changes to existing functionality. Product Consultants are generally responsible for the following tasks:
  • Document product change requests submitted by the client.
  • Serve as a product liaison across multiple i3-Verticals departments to help facilitate communication regarding new functionality requests.
  • Able to communicate specific details of client requirements to internal product developers.
  • Advise client counterparties on how to maximize product functionality to meet client expectations.
• i3-Verticals Product Testing – Product Consultants are responsible for completing the following testing activities:
  • Able to write test cases for new and existing functionality for i3-Verticals products.
  • Able to follow and execute test cases related to i3-Verticals products.
  • Able to document test case results as the test cases are completed.
• Leadership Roles – i3-Verticals Product Consultants are frequently asked to take a client-facing leadership role while assigned to projects; role may include serving as:
  • Functional Lead – Consultant will manage project requirements to ensure all in-scope requirements have been met. Functional Lead will also be responsible for facilitating routine client meetings for product configuration and product functionality.
  • Testing Lead – Consultant may be asked to serve in a leadership position to ensure all project requirements have been tested, documented, and delivered to client. Testing Lead may also be asked to host routine testing meetings with client.
• Product Development – Product Consultant(s) work directly with Product Development to ensure i3-Verticals products support emerging technology that our clients rely on to meet current customer expectations. The following skills and tasks are necessary to support Product Development:
  • Able to efficiently communicate client’s industry standards with internal counterparties.
  • Recognize shortfalls or gaps in the existing marketspace which i3-Verticals may be able to satisfy with product development.
  • Ability to assist Product Development with aligning Product Roadmap and future functionality with current demand.
• Develop and improve project and internal documentation and processes.
• Continue to learn and improve your knowledge of the Oracle Utilities solutions as new versions are released.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE):

• Experience with AWS: AWS Connect; AWS Poly; AWS Lambda; AWS Lex.
• Experience building Contact Flows, QuickSight (dashboards), Kinesis, Contact Lens, Cloud Watch, Amazon Connect/AWS Certifications, Experience with CRMs, Chatbot/chat client, Knowledge of leveraging APIs, Telephony Scripting including Python, VBA, SQL, JavaScript etc.
