Job Description
Job Duties:
The individual shall provide Functional Mission Analysis support to identify critical information technology architecture and supporting infrastructure that supports the warfighting mission. The individual shall brief supporting recommendations and Courses of Actions. Personnel
supporting Functional Mission Analysis work activities shall possess a fundamental understanding of DoD Mission Assurance concepts and principles and how they relate to the USAF Mission. Personnel shall be familiar with the purpose and use of the Mission Assurance
Database Support System (MADSS) and other similar data base repositories, such as the Strategic Mission Assurance Database System (SMADS). Individual shall possess an in-depth knowledge of various technical resources pertinent to emerging cyber tools and capabilities
required to perform Functional Mission analysis and supporting assessments, including open source technologies and instructions published by the Air Force Cyber College.
Possesses at least one of the following certifications:
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP)
Required Personnel Skill Sets
Knowledge of network security architecture
Knowledge of USAF mission sets at a Wing Level (Plans)
Ability to map mission to critical enablers (e.g. logistics tail from start to end of mission) and supporting architecture
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products and SharePoint collaborative tools to build trend analysis
Communication skills required to engage mission owners/partners to assist in dependency mapping of pertinent assets
