Functional Analyst/Tester

This position is currently designated as on-site at the client site (Kearneysville WVA) and candidates should be in commuting distance. 
Job Description:

• Perform business analysis, requirements analysis and related duties for moderately complex to complex software or IT systems.
• Analyze complex problems, derive options and solutions and present in an understandable manner to stakeholders, developers, testers.
• Participate in all phases of software/hardware development.
  Assist developers with code analysis.
• Understand and document application functions, data and process flows.
• Facilitates onsite User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Assist with system testing activities for a particular project or subset of a larger project.
• Analyzes user needs to determine functional and cross-functional requirements. 
• Performs functional analysis to identify required tasks and their interrelationships. 
• Identifies resources required for each task. 
• Possesses expert knowledge and experience in the requirements and integration. 
• Has existing knowledge of Vessel Documentation (ex. Certification of Document, Abstract of Title), Vessel Registration & Renewals, etc.
• Works with engineers on systems integration. 
• Provides daily supervision and direction to support staff.

Citizenship or Work Authorization Required: US Citizen

Required Education & Experience: 2 years of experience and an Associate’s Degree.

Essential Job Function Physical Requirements: The physical requirements of this position are critical in evaluating the qualifications and abilities of an applicant or employee. The physical efforts needed to perform the essential duties of this job 90% of the time are repetitive motions, grasping, holding, and finger dexterity of the hands, reading, writing, eye-hand coordination, color distinction, and full visual abilities, hearing, talking, sitting, and use of IT equipment, phones, and office machines.
