Fun Park Director

Starland Sportsplex & Fun Park in Hanover, MA is hiring a Fun Park Director! An entertainment complex focused on reimagining fun, our ideal candidate is a self-starter, ambitious, and reliable. In your role you'll work on a fun, upbeat team and oversee operations within our sprawling indoor & outdoor Fun Park. Attractions include go-karts, mini golf, laser tag, arcade, drop tower & more! New go-karts coming spring 2024; two new attractions coming summer 2025.

Responsibilities include:

• Conceptualize, develop, and drive the short-term and long-term strategic plan for the park
• Oversee all park related activities for Starland’s indoor and outdoor attractions
• Hire, train, fire, schedule, and manage all park staff (seasonal, part-time and full-time)
• Oversee the appearance and maintenance of attractions with facilities
• Communicate regularly and efficiently with Starland’s cross-functional partners (i.e. sports, food & beverage, marketing, events) to develop tactics that grow the business
• Develop, maintain, improve, and enforce Starland’s standard operating policies and procedures
• Deliver fast & friendly service to guests
• Create & foster a positive work environment
• Ensure proper cash handling and deposit procedures are followed
• Manage Fun Park budget
• Assist in other areas of the facility as needed

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a manager role
• Excellent communication skills to connect effectively with customers and co-workers
• Possess a positive attitude and ethics which support our values and culture
• Ability to manage in a fast-paced, high-volume facility
• Strong time-management skills; ability to multitask, prioritize, and organize
• Willingness to grow and learn in your role
• Ability to work weekdays, weekends, and nights
