Title:Epic Systems Analyst
Location: Remote (Must be located in WA)
Duration: Perm or Contract to Hire
Schedule: Mo-Fr 8:00am - 5:00pm
Required Qualifications:
- Experience with Epic Prelude or Epic Cadence
- Have minimum of Epic Certification
- 3-5+ years of Epic Systems Analyst Experience
- Real Time Eligibility (RTE) or Real Time Authorization (RTA) - that is a given
- Previous experience with Epic build, testing, and go-live support
- Ability to identify and resolve systems issues in coordination with other Epic team members
- Team Player, Adaptable, and Independent
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified in Prelude or Cadence
Day to Day Responsibilities:
As an Epic Systems Analyst, you will be involved in various aspects of the design, build, testing, validation, and support of clinical and/or revenue cycle and access applications. Some of your day to day responsibilities may include:
- Collaborating with other Epic team members and operational counterparts to gather and document business requirements, system specifications, and testing scenarios
- Configuring and customizing Epic applications according to the agreed-upon specifications and best practices
- Performing unit, integration, and regression testing of Epic applications and validating the results
- Troubleshooting and resolving any issues or defects that arise during the testing or implementation phases
- Providing end-user training and support for Epic applications and ensuring a smooth transition to the new system
- Monitoring and maintaining the performance and functionality of Epic applications and applying any necessary updates or patches
- Developing and generating reports and dashboards to support operational and clinical decision making
- Participating in project meetings, status updates, and change management activities
- Staying current with Epic new releases, enhancements, and industry trends
- Providing on-call support and responding to EMR-related inquiries as needed

As an Epic Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for the design, build, testing, validation, and ongoing support of clinical and/or revenue cycle and access applications. You will work closely with other Epic team members and operational counterparts to ensure consistent and efficient business processes, provide creative and expert solutions to end-user needs and problems, and perform in-depth analyses of workflows, data collection, interface integration, and reporting requirements. You will also participate in driving operational change within the organization and respond to EMR-related inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
