Provides customer service, processing both business and individual banking transactions. Responsible for managing a cash fund, and maintaining and promoting customer relationships.
Basic Responsibilities Required Skills and Qualifications
- Process customer cash transactions in either the bank lobby or drive-up windows
- Perform regulatory functions for those transactions which require them, such as Reg CC and BSA forms
- Responsible for daily balancing of a cash drawer Sell Cashier's Checks and Money Orders Redeem Savings Bonds
- Preparation of daily teller work for routing to Bank Operations Department
- Provide customer service that builds customer relationships, cross-sell bank products, and assist customers with problem resolution
- Approximately six months prior teller experience or experience in positions requiring heavy cash handling and balancing
Ability to communicate with customers in a clear, concise, and professional manner
- Basic PC experience, including Microsoft Windows 10
- Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to recognize and differentiate colors
- Extensive customer contact requiring proven skills in building relationships, which enhance the overall marketing effort of the Bank.
