Position Summary for Full-Time Teller
The individual hired for this position will provide our valued members exemplary customer service as you accurately and efficiently process everyday banking transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, transfers, payments, and more. As a Teller, you will build professional relationships with credit union members and coworkers by promoting a positive, helpful, and friendly team environment. You will contribute your unique talents, skills, and experiences to help our members, your team, and our credit union get better every day, providing exceptional member service by caring for everyone like family. Teller/Concierge Compensation
Pay: Starting at $14/hour DOE and eligible for incentive pay; Paid Bi-weekly
Benefits:
- Retirement - 401k with employer match up to 5% after 90 days as a payroll employee
- Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability Plans, and Voluntary Insurance - eligible on the 1st of the month following initial 30 days of employment with the credit union
- Basic Life/AD&D paid by employer
- Allstate Supplemental Insurance
Leaves: Paid Vacation, Sick, Bereavement, Jury Duty, Volunteer, Paid Holidays (11 annually)
Position Classification: Non-Exempt
Scheduled Hours: Full-Time with availability for shifts between 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM M-F, Plus rotating Saturdays 8:45 AM - 1 PM
Summary of Qualifications for Teller/Concierge
Education: High school graduate or GED
Experience: At least six months or more of cash handling, customer service with sales, or related experience.
Other required qualifications:
- Good typing skills (at least 40 wpm)
- Good Data Entry (at least 6,000 kph for 10 key by touch and at least 8,500 for data field entries)
- The ability to work hard, find solutions and have fun
- Excellent listening ability and verbal and written communication
- Professional appearance and a genuine and self-starter attitude
- Passion for providing outstanding service to our members
- The ability to collaborate with team members
- Able to plan and prioritize workload, strong attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and quality of work
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent Spanish and English is preferred
