Are you an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in the emergent, inpatient or outpatient setting looking for an alternative opportunity promoting health and wellness in our local community in a more relaxed, non-emergent/urgent environment?

PNW Hydration & Wellness is seeking outgoing, experienced RNs to join our team of wellness professionals on a mission to help people feel better and be proactive about theiroverall health and wellness. We offer innovative customized IV Drips, Intramuscular and Subcutaneous Injection and other amazing services in a fun, comfortable, supportive environment.

RN Role

The Registered NurseIV Specialist will be responsible for providing services at PNW Hydration & Wellness as well as opprotunities for off-site concierge mobile services, to include but not limited to; pop-up events and promotions, indiviudial client care on a pre-approved basis for in-home/off-site services.

• The RN will be responsible for safety, appropriateness, quality and adequacy of services provided.
• The RN will be responsible for ensuring that care is delivered appropriately and that the standards of safety & quality are adhered to.
• Mixing customized IV drips & IM/SC Injections based on protocols and procedures set by PNW Hydration & Wellness Medical Director
• Administering customized IV drips and IM/SC Injections to deliver our customized menu of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and other IV/IM/SC therapies
• Educating clients on the qualities and benefits of our Customized IV and IM/SC Injection ingredients
• Documenting client visits through the use of electronic medical records
• Addressing and answering client questions using PNW Hydration & Wellness medical directors' protocols & procedures
• Appropriate and effective communication with the medical director and nursing team at all times
• Providing therapeutic communication along with exceptional customer service
• Participating in off-site pop-up events, concierge mobile services and special projects

Qualities You Need to Succeed:

• Current and unrestricted Registered Nursing license in Washington State
• Clean background and criminal record
• Current CPR/BLS
• Must have two years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting (ER, ICU, Pre-Op, IVT etc.)
• Must have successfully started 1,000 or more peripheral IVs
• Must be an expert at placing peripheral IVs (success rate of 95% or higher on the FIRST stick)
• Must be an expert with anatomy and landmarks for safe and appropriate IM/SC injection administration(s)
• Must be comfortable using electronic medical records to document client details
• Complete patient/client visit documents and submit all documentation according to company policy and HIPAA compliance
• Must maintain a non-judgmental outlook and have a demonstrated ability to work with a diverse population
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
• Must have strong interpersonal skills and enjoy interacting with people of all backgrounds
• Must value ethics and integrity
• Must embrace a team environment and also excel at working independently
• Must be willing to adhere to all policies and procedures and understand the importance of maintaining medical compliance
• Must provide your own stethoscope
• You must have a reliable car and auto insurance

PNW Hydration & Wellness is the premier customized IV service provider in the Pacific Northwest. We began as a mobile service in 2020 and quickly expanded to regular pop-up events locally, as we prepared to open our first clinic location in downtown Puyallup in August of 2021. Job Type: Primary Need is for the following: Every week; Monday, Thursday & Friday 9am to 6pm and ONE FULL weekend: Saturday (9-6) AND Sunday (10-3) per month. With opportunity to pick up additional shifts as needed.
