Full-Time Program Worker--Direct care--caregiving

Now hiring for a full-time day shift salaried position in our 24-hour staffed program for adults with mental health disabilities. We are licensed as a Personal Care Home. Salary is 35 hours per week, Sundays through Thursdays.

Shifts are as follows: Sundays 9a-3p, Mondays 8a-3p, Tuesdays 8a-3p, Wednesdays 7a-4p, Thursdays 9a-3p.

Job duties include, but are not limited to: providing life skills training and supportive counseling to our residents, dispensing medications, cooking meals, cleaning duties, initiating and participating in social and recreational activities, writing resident reviews/charting, and intervening in psychiatric emergencies. We also transport our residents out in the community. We emphasize team work and communication!

Requirements: Applicants must have a valid driver’s license, be 21 years or older, have HSdiploma or GED, reliable transportation, and have some type of experience working with disabilities or in care settings. Pre-employment physical, TB test, and criminal background check required at employee’s expense.
