The area is best known as the home of breathtaking Scotts Bluff National Monument that rises 800 feet above the North Platte River. Scottsbluff is home to the Old West Balloon Fest and offers many exciting annual festivities and metropolitan amenities.
Facility Description
As the region's only tertiary referral medical center, Regional West offers care that spans more than 32 medical specialties provided by over 28 physician clinics. With nearly 300 providers and approximately 2,000 staff members, Regional West provides comprehensive and innovative health care services for the people of western Nebraska and the neighboring states of Colorado, South Dakota, and Wyoming.

This program features:
- Level II Trauma Center
- 188-bed facility
- 28-bed ICU
- GME program
- 5 physician, 1 APC program
- Approximately 13 patients per shift with 1-2 admissions
- Schedule 7-on/ 7-off block scheduling
- EMR: Cerner
- Open ICU; 28 beds
- Must be comfortable with arterial lines and intubation (1-2 procedures per week); will pay for SIM lab, if needed or interested
