The Hy-Vee Distribution Center in CHARITON, IOWA is hiring for the shift night shift (6p-2a) for full-time Grocery Order Selectors. These jobs start at $21. 56 per hr, $21.97 starting 3/11/24, $24.96 after 1 year, and $28.77 after 2 years (including $1 night differential), + $1 extra per hour whenever assisting in the freezer + incentive pay. NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.

Requirements

· Must be able to work in an extremely fast-paced and physically demanding position that requires working on your feet for 8 to 10 hours on concrete, lifting 50 lbs. frequently and up to 75 lbs. occasionally.

· Must have weekend availability. Schedules are bid based off seniority, so schedules available for external candidates work weekends.

· For freezer positions, you must be able to work in an environment that is -10 degrees Fahrenheit.

Duties

· Responsible for utilizing a headset and electric pallet jack to select products from the warehouse floor in a timely manner

· Responsible for building pallets of the ordered product in an efficient manner.

·Proper stacking of merchandise on pallet to prevent damaged merchandise.

·Direct loading of pallets onto trailers.
