Job Summary
Pittsburgh, PA | Upper St Clair
- Start Date: End of December or early January
- Hours: Guaranteed 40 hours/week ; M-Th 8:30 am - 4:30 pm, Fridays 8 am - 4 pm
- Hourly Rate: $24-28
- Children: 3-month-old and 2-year-old
- Paid Vacation: One week family’s choice, one week nanny’s choice, 3 sick/personal days, all holidays that fall on a workday
Responsibilities and Duties
- WHO/WHAT: Do you look for any excuse to be outside? Is squeaky clean music to your ears? Two reformed nomads are looking for an experienced, long-term nanny to partner with them in raising their two irresistibly cute boys. Mom and Dad work full-time in rotating shifts from home. You’ll work Monday to Thursday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, and 8 to 4 on Fridays. During that time, you’ll be a true partner on the same page with the parents to help keep the home clean and the kids happy, safe, and on schedule. The two-year-old gets his motor running up and down the street on his scooter or quad bike. You’ll also quickly discover he can’t get enough of playing at the park. And baby brother can’t get enough of hanging out with his big brother. So far, the smiley little guy only cries when he’s hungry. As needed, you’ll hold, comfort, feed, burp, change, and guide naptimes. These parents want a nanny who’ll do more than go through the motions to preoccupy the fellows; they hope your imagination combined with your toddler experience will keep fresh activities coming so these smart kiddos continue exceling mentally and physically. There are no pets, sugar is limited, and you will have to occasionally drive in a family-provided vehicle. While the boys are resting, you’ll assist with their laundry, restock nursery supplies, wash bottles, vacuum, sweep, help with light dinner prep, and general tidying up. This family is active, organized, and loves to have fun, so your energy will be well spent!
