Responsibilities and Duties
- WHO/WHAT: Even though you’ve heard it a zillion times, do you still listen intently to the flight attendant giving the in-case-of-emergency speech? Are you a baby superfan with a ton of common sense AND infant experience? This delightful family of three is about to add a plus-one with their bundle of joy coming in July. Your shifts will be Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Dad works from home but will stay far out of your way. There’s a rambunctious (almost) three-year-old daughter who’s at a private daycare most of the day. So—for the most part—all your love and attention will go to keeping her little brother (coming in July) healthy and happy! You’ll hold, comfort, feed, burp, change, and guide his naps. When the little fellow’s awake, you’ll read to him, sing songs together, and plan activities to enrich his development. And don’t worry about getting in those steps because these parents value outdoor play and socialization. When his big sister is home from daycare due to a school closure or a Jewish holiday, she may need some of your TLC. She’s independent and a great listener who loves reading and watching cartoons. Household chores will be minimal. You’ll occasionally help with the children’s laundry, wash bottles, restock the nursery supplies, vacuum, sweep, and general light tidying up. There are no pets, no allergies, you won’t need to drive anywhere, or know how to swim. Finally, the young gentleman has his own daycare spot reserved for September 2025, so please plan on being around until that time. So if you’re naturally an extra cautious person with plenty of infant care experience, then APPLY today!
The Ideal Nanny Is...SAFETY-MINDED! Using common sense, you never take risks—like feeding the baby grapes when introducing solid foods—and you’re continuously on alert for potential danger. You never forget to close the baby gate at the top of the stairs, always spot choking hazards, and take extra care when putting him to sleep in the crib. Engaging, nurturing, and interactive, you have no shortage of creative ideas to enhance a baby’s development. These parents have demanding jobs, so it’s imperative that you’re reliable and punctual. Most importantly, you’re kind, patient, and trustworthy, always gentle, and act with great care. There’s no rush for this role, so APPLY right now, even if you’re not available for a couple of months!
