A warm and lively family of four in Closter, NJ, is seeking a full-time Monday through Friday nanny for their two children, ages 6 and 4.
The family is hoping to find a nanny who will be with them for many years to come. Both parents work FT outside of the home.
The general schedule is Monday - Friday, 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm.
*40 hours per week guaranteed, and there will be plenty of weekend overtime hours (1.5 x regular hourly rate) available for candidates seeking OT.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to;
- Engaging the child in age-appropriate developmental activities to stimulate play and interaction.
- Prepare healthy children’s food
- Transport to and from school/camp/activities - using the family’s SUV
- Children’s laundry (clothing, bedding)
- Keep kid's rooms clean (trash cans, bathroom)
- Cycle out seasonal clothing, keep drawers organized
- Travel with family
- Reading to children daily
- Bathing children
- Naptime & Bedtime routine
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of relevant FT nanny with children ages toddler and school-aged and will be reliable, engaging, upbeat, compassionate, open, honest, dedicated, knowledgeable about child development, enthusiastic about nurturing the children’s curiosity and interests, and seeking a long term position with a family.
- 3+ years of relevant FT nanny experience.
- Valid Driver’s License
- Legally permitted to work in the U.S.
- 2-3 relevant references.
- Ability to travel on occasion
- Vaccinated
- Must know how to swim - the family has a pool
- Team player and can work well with Nanny.
Salary: $35.00 gross per hour.
Benefits: PTO: 2 weeks of vacation, certain holidays, 10 sick days per year, and others such as a healthcare stipend can be negotiated.
