Under the direct supervision of the Admissions Manager, the LTE Enrollment Services Assistant supports the Nicolet College community (students, employees, and external stakeholders) through transformational customer service within the Nicolet College Welcome Center. This multi-faceted position will provide support during a college-wide ERP implementation and ensure continuity of service excellence for this front-facing position.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

This position supports the overall enrollment team of the college (admission, advising, and financial aid) through frontline customer service and activities related to strategic enrollment management.
Customer Service

  • Serve as the first point of contact for potential students, current students, and broader Nicolet Community via phone, email, in-person interaction, online chat and texting software.
  • Respond to inquiries and requests using independent judgment to fit situation or facts. Make referrals as appropriate.
  • Work collaboratively in a team environment to serve the needs of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain the college service excellence standards.
  • Strategic Enrollment Management Support
  • Support all aspects of the College admissions and dual credit processes, student registration and financial aid.
  • Provide comprehensive support to recruitment and retention initiatives, including but not limited to:
  • Recruitment events
  • Pk-16 engagement
  • Dual-credit initiatives
  • Enrollment and registration events
  • Tribal outreach events
  • Communicate with potential students and applicants to convert to enrollees.
  • Data and Process Management
  • Assist in data compilation, data entry and data integrity management.
  • Utilize customer relationship management systems to track essential contact information and interactions with potential students and applicants.
  • Maintain FERPA required confidentiality for all college departments and any other related policies.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of processes in the Welcome Center and College.

  • Qualifications

    Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of work experience in an office or customer service environment.
  • Associate Degree or progress toward an Associate Degree.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with CRM and/or Student Information System.
  • Associate Degree in Office Management, Business Management, or similar field.
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
    • Knowledge of college operations, goals and policies related to admission and recruiting, advising and registration, financial aid and records.
    • Knowledge of student privacy laws and regulations, with ability to use discretion when handling sensitive information and situations.
    • Exceptional customer service and relationship building skills.
    • Strong interpersonal communication skills (listening and asking questions) to interpret inquiries and convey accurate information.
    • Strong attention to detail.
    • Skilled in interacting with people from diverse groups or backgrounds.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines while working in a fast-paced environment.
    • Ability to navigate and learn new technologies related to position including, but not limited to Salesforce, PowerCampus, Perceptive Content, Form Assembly, Pardot, Microsoft Office.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in teams on a daily basis and for large scale projects.
    • Ability to interact with others empathetically and courteously, even in stressful situations.
    • Ability to use independent judgement to make decisions.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be exposed to normal office conditions and usual office equipment such as telephone, personal computer, printers/copiers, reports, and files.
  • The employee will be constantly required to sit, talk, hear, and type/write.
  • The employee will be frequently required to stand, walk, touch/handle/grasp (using hands and fingers), and reach with hands and arms.
  • The employee must occasionally bend or squat and lift and/or push up to 25 pounds of general office items.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, far, and field of vision.

    Compensation:
    The typical starting pay range for this position is $17.09 - $21.18 per hour, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Includes a comprehensive benefits package.
