REQUIRMENTS FOR THIS HOSPICE DON JOB
To excel as our Hospice Director of Nursing (DON) at St. Johns Hospice, you'll need a unique blend of skill and experiences. A valid RN license is a must, couples with 2 years of hospice experience to hit the ground running. Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly with Wellsky/Kinnser will be a valuable asset in streamling documentation and enhancing patient care.
As a problem solver and empathetic leader, you'll navigate complex care scenarios with grace and compassion. Stong communication skills and the ability to collaborate seamlessly with interdisciplinary teams, patients' families, and referring agencies are key to success in this role. Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
- Licensed RN
- 2 years of hospice experience required.
- Management experience within the hospice, home health or hospital setting
