As a Home Health Aide, you will:
- Provide personal care assistance such as showering, bathing, and dressing
- Help clients take prescribed medication
- Assist with walking and help getting around safely
- Plan and prepare nutritious meals
- Assist with physical therapy exercises
- Help clients keep their homes clean and tidy
- Provide accompanied transportation to doctors' appointments or errands
- Monitor for changes in condition
- Provide compassionate care and friendly companionship
What makes you a great candidate?
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation every single day
- Available to work day or overnight shifts, including every other weekend
- Prior experience in a healthcare or in-home care environment (not required, but a plus!)
- Supportive and compassionate demeanor
- Excellent communication skills
- A desire to help clients remain at home
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Full-Time:
Day Shifts: 36 hours/week, including every other weekend rotation. Schedules vary from 4 - 12 hour shifts, anywhere between 8 am and 8 pm.
Night Shifts: 36 hours/week, including every other weekend rotation. Schedules are for 12-hour shifts, 8 pm to 8 am.
Get paid & get Certified with our HHA Course!
3 Week Fully Paid Course: Monday through Thursday from 8am-5pm and Fridays from 8am-Noon
The HHA course consists of shifts in our classroom completing labs, online education modules and mentoring shifts with our carefully selected mentors in the field.
We are dedicated to ensuring your success as a caregiver & are here for you every step of the way!
Upon completion you will be registered with the state of ND as a Home Health Aide.
