Position Title: Contact Center Advisor
Job Type: Full-Time Classification: Non-Exempt
Salary: $17.00 per hour *$2 differential pay is applicable when working 5 PM to 6 PM Monday through Friday, as well as on Saturday 8:30 AM to 2 PM.
Our growing credit union is searching for detail-oriented team members to provide exceptional service to our members. This includes providing prompt, efficient and courteous service while processing transactions, answering questions and cross servicing.
What You’ll Be Doing…
- Serve and satisfy member needs via telephone in a professional manner while providing general information and cross selling products and services.
- Utilize product knowledge to establish new relationships with potential members who call to inquire about membership.
- Perform various member transactions including but not limited to: transfers, withdrawals, loan payments, certificate transactions, account maintenance, card requests and assistance with technological services.
- Process requests for new loan products by preparing applications for review by loan processors and informing members regarding status of credit applications.
- Support all sales initiatives to achieve sales goals.
- Perform miscellaneous back office duties and other tasks as assigned.
On-Site training is required for the first 90 days of employment. Potential hybrid opportunity available upon completion of training/assessment.
What Qualifications You’ll Need…
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
- Bilingual preferred; at a minimum, the ability to understand and to make one’s self understood to all Spanish and English speaking individuals.
- 12 months previous exposure to customer service preferred.
- Previous financial and/or member service experience desired.
- PC proficiency required.
- Must be attentive and detail-oriented.
- Ability to operate office equipment, and sit for long periods of time.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to balance and make mathematical computations.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Possess good ethics and integrity.
- Possess strong people skills and a knack for problem solving.
- Possess effective organizational and communication skills.
