We're hiring a full-time Collections Assistant to join our growing team! This position will be based in our Cuyahoga Heights, OH administration location. Ideal candidate will qualify for a $500.00 sign-on bonus*.

Who You Are
Our ideal teammate is a collection guru with great customer service skills. We want candidates who can speak with our members about their current situations and help resolve sticky financial concerns while maintaining a good relationship with the member. Good credit is important to us, as we are a financial institution.
Responsibilities
- Reach out to current members that are delinquent on their accounts by phone, mail, and electronic means and take appropriate action to bring account current
- Analyze the financial situation of delinquent members and make recommendations to solve concerns or arrange return of collateral
- Maintain accurate files and reports of all collection activity
- Inform management of trends in loan activity contributing to delinquent/charged-off loans
Qualifications
- One to three years of related experience
- Education: A high school education or GED.
- Impeccable customer service skills

- Working knowledge of regulations relating to collection activity Physical requirements include moving frequently and regularly using wrists, hands, and or fingers; speaking clearly, hearing and understanding; visual acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents; should be able to exert up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally.

- Sign-on bonus available for new teammates who start with the company beginning June 1, 2021, for a limited time only. A sign-on bonus of $500, which is subject to tax, will be paid to during the pay period following 90 days of employment. The teammate must complete a full 90 days of employment in order to be eligible.
