PRIMARY PURPOSE
Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children that encourages their social, emotional, physical and intellectual development. Design and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum according to guidelines established by Bright Horizons and the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). Incorporate Bright Horizon's mission, culture, goals, values (HEART Principles), philosophies, policies, and development of an inclusive environment. Review important decisions with his/her supervisor, and maintain positive relationships with parents/guardians, children and coworkers. Ensure safety and supervision of children at all times by meeting the physical demands of the position.

Compensation Range: $15.40 - $20.75 / hr

- We offer competitive salaries staring at $15.40-20.75/hr., based upon education and experience!
- REQUIRED: DCF45hrs/exams completed (contingent upon state residency OR time in field)
- PREFERRED: CDA completed/renewed or related coursework

As a Child Care Teacher, you will:
- Create and lead activities based on your observations of the children's interests and needs.
- Communicate daily with parents. Document and share the important milestones in their child's day.
- Keep the classroom safe and clean by following important procedures and guidelines.
Requirements:
Candidates must pass required state and company background checks, and meet state and company minimum education and experience requirements:
- At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED required
- CDA preferred
- Degree OR Early childhood coursework preferred
- At least 6-12 months of experience working in Child Care, daycare, or preschool preferred
