What We're Seeking:
Behavior Technician
Location: Oakland Region, covering Oakland, Alameda, Berkeley, Albany, El Cerrito, Richmond, and surrounding cities within 35 miles of Oakland, CA.
Requirements:
- Experience with children is essential.
- Bilingual Spanish-speaking is a plus but not mandatory.
RBT Supervision and Training:
- New hires schedule the RBT exam within 100 days of employment (exam fee reimbursed).
- Training is compensated.
- Upon RBT certification, receive a $1 raise.
- Potential promotion to Registered Field Trainer (RFT) after 6 months as an RBT.
Job Details:
- Full-time hours may be available for candidates with open availability 9:00AM-7:30PM Monday- Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Implement ABA-based programs to enhance communication, self-help, social, and play skills.
- Maintain positive relationships with supervisors, teams, and families.
- Document and track client progress consistently.
- Address challenging behaviors effectively.
- Ensure confidentiality of client information.
- Travel to client homes and community settings.
- Perform tasks like diapering/toileting and sanitizing toys/work surfaces if required.
Physical Requirements:
- Regularly engage in physical activities such as walking, standing, bending, lifting (up to 50 pounds), and crawling on the floor.
- Exhibit manual dexterity for data entry and use of electronic devices.
- Specific vision and auditory abilities as detailed in the job description.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to drive a motor vehicle.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
