Minimum 1+ years Behavior Specialist experience required.
Are you an experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with a passion for making a positive impact on the lives of students with special needs? We are currently seeking a dedicated BCBA to join our team in New Lenox, IL, for the current school year.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
- Valid licensure to work in the state of Illinois
- Knowledge of or willingness to be trained in QBS Safety Care
- Previous experience working with students with special needs
- Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
As a BCBA, your primary responsibility will be to support and enhance the quality of life for students with special needs through the application of ABA strategies. Your key duties will include:
- Conducting functional behavior assessments (FBAs)
- Developing and implementing behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
- Providing training and support to staff, teachers, and parents
- Collecting and analyzing data to track student progress
- Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to create and adjust Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Ensuring a safe and positive learning environment for students
