Fair Oaks Motors is looking to grow our team! We are looking for Full and Part Time Front Desk Receptionists and File Clerks.
We are looking for someone with a flexible availability to cover Weekday and Weekend shifts with room for growth!
The Receptionist will greet, assist, and provide direction and information to clients, visitors, and other guests of the organization.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- None.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greets clients, visitors, and guests; determines the purpose of each persons’ visit and directs or escorts them to the appropriate location.
- Manages inbound phone inquiries and routes calls accordingly.
- Coordinates questions and issues with the appropriate department personnel
- Receipts in monies for various dealership departments.
- Ensures accurate transactions by balancing cash register at the beginning and end of shift, and sales at the end of shift.
- Provides administrative back-up to various dealership departments as needed.
- Performs basic recordkeeping, including filing and scanning documents for various dealership departments.
- Receives mail, documents, and packages and delivers or distributes items.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Able to effectively work with management teams at all levels
- Prompt and courteous demeanor
- Positive and hardworking personality
- Proficient with Microsoft Office or related software.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma.
- Previous Customer Service or administrative experience in a high-volume environment desired.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds
- Must be able to hear staff on the phone and those who are served in-person, and speak clearly in order to communicate information to clients and staff
- Must have normal vision or use of glasses/corrective lenses to bring vision to normal
- Must be able to move self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
