Full Time - Ase Certified - Diesel Mechanic

Overview Enterprise Mobility is seeking a responsible, dedicated person to join our team as a Full Time - ASE Certified - Diesel Mechanic. The Diesel  Maintenance Technician is a skilled position that requires the ability to perform medium duty diesel truck mechanical and warranty repairs, as well as diagnose and troubleshoot drivability problems, according to company policy and procedures. This is a position of routine difficulty requiring the exercise of reasonable judgment and initiative.  This position starting pay is $34.50/hr and is located at our Enterprise Truck Rental - Santa Fe Springs Service Center - 12940 Firestone Blvd. Santa Fe Springs Ca 90670. We offer:$34.50/hour (+ $1/hr for each T/H ASE)Reimbursement for additional certifications (ASEs) up to 16 max. Paid time off upon hire40 hour per week consistent work scheduleAdvancement opportunitiesHealth InsuranceLife InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsuranceRetirement Savings plan including 401k with a 4% match and Profit SharingTraining and development Responsibilities Ensure that all repairs and preventative maintenance are completed according to the manufacturer's specifications and guidelines.Provide safe and reliable vehicles upon completion of repairs and preventative maintenance.Perform in-fleet servicing on new trucks according to company procedures as required.Perform buy back/turn back servicing according to company procedures as required.Perform vehicle servicing/repairing to maintain company standards.Maintain the work area in a safe and clean condition.Perform timely inspections on light and medium duty vehicles to comply with DOT specificationsPerform related duties as requiredHelps in fostering a "team" atmosphere Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veterans Qualifications Must be at least 21 years of age4+ Truck (T) ASE certifications requiredMinimum of 1 year experience handling mechanical service procedures on/with Truck/Diesel maintenance (general repairs, PM's, DOT's, brakes, etc.) OR graduation from UTI/Tech School with Diesel certificateMust be able to complete a pre-employment DOT physical exam & drug test to obtain a Medical Card as required by the USDOTNo Moonlighting allowed (no other paid employment)Must have a registered account with the FMCSA clearing house Welding experience helpful, but not required.Must be able to lift 50 lbs and have the ability to lift, carry, push or pull a variety of tools, equipment and materials; and balance, stoop, kneel and crouch (medium duty labor)Apart from religious observations, must be available to work a full-time between the hours of 7am - 4pm Monday - Friday.Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the futureThis position requires a valid drivers licenseMust not have more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record within the past 3 yearsMust not have any drug or alcohol related convictions on driving record within the past 5 years (DUI/DWI)DOT Requirements:  We are subject to certain Department of Transportation RegulationsAll applicants must be at least 21 years of age and be qualified to drive under D.O.T. regulations.
