Pay Range & Benefits:

  • Mental Health Therapist II - $27.08/hr; $56,326.40 annually (Master's Degree)
  • LCSW/LPC/LMFT: $30.91/hr - $31.41/hr; $64,292.80 - $65,332.80 annually
  • Spanish Differential: $2.50/hr

POSITION SUMMARY: This is a full time, 12-month, clinical position located at one of our Denver Public School partnership locations. The ideal applicant will have between 2-3 years of mental health therapy provision experience with K-12 aged children. Both licensed (LCSW/LPC/LMFT) and Spanish speaking proficiency strongly preferred.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Provide psychological evaluations/problem identification, crisis interventions, and individual, group, and/or family therapy and some telehealth therapy to assigned clients.
  • Provide case management services to clients as needed or assigned.
  • Develop treatment plans; monitor treatment progress and follow-up at disposition times.
  • Assist clients with psychological development, social development, and rehabilitation.
  • Coordinate client's use of other WellPower programs and outside community resources.
  • Coordinate medication/medicinal needs of clients with psychiatrists, nurses, and other medical sources.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical records consistent with WellPower standards.
  • Participate in team/department meetings, in-services, and supervisory sessions as required.
  • Perform 27-10 (M-1) "mental health hold" evaluations.
  • Maintain a trauma informed environment of wellbeing.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION: Master's Degree in social work, psychology, or similar field. Current license as a LCSW/LPC/LMFT in the State of Colorado strongly preferred.

EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in clinical social work setting post graduate degree. Experience working with moderate to severe and persistently mentally ill populations. Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred. Experience with students on the spectrum and ABA a plus.
