We are seeking a Full Stack Web Developer to join our growing team. As a Website Developer, you'll be responsible for the end-to-end design, coding, and enhancement of our client's websites, ensuring they meet the highest standards of functionality and user experience. Your work will extend to integrating with the digital ecosystem, providing a global reach to enhance our client's web platforms. The ideal candidate will excel in engaging closely with both creative and client teams to elevate project outcomes. Your role involves not just coding but also co-creating with the design team, iterating designs into functional web realities that set new standards in the industry.
Salary & Benefits:
This is a full-time, remote position with a starting salary of $85,000 annually. Benefits include:

• 2 weeks of paid time off

Requirements

• Develop and implement cutting-edge web solutions by collaborating closely with the design team, iterating on projects to exceed client expectations and push boundaries
• Integrate data from diverse backend services and databases
• Collaborate with team members to translate concepts into actionable solutions
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and incorporate them into our operations
• Design and code user interfaces, templates, and wireframes for web and email
• Manage the maintenance, updates, and scaling of design elements
• Utilize a comprehensive knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS to create efficient, performant code, with an eye for design that ensures engaging user experiences
• Apply expertise in various CMS and modern web development frameworks, including WordPress, WebFlow, HubSpot, Magento, and headless CMS technologies, reflecting a broad understanding of web development ecosystems
• Ability to guide, mentor, and support other Web Developer contractors and specialists
• Inform technical architecture, tech-stack selection, and development process while balancing client expectations and business objectives
• Back-end Development: Design and develop robust server-side applications using languages like Node.js, Python, or Ruby on Rails. Have the ability to build and integrate RESTful APIs to facilitate data exchange between the front-end and back-end. Must be able to implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms. Can integrate third-party services and APIs as needed.
• Database Management: Must design and maintain efficient database schemas. Can competently write optimized SQL queries and leverage ORM tools for data manipulation. Ability to implement caching mechanisms to improve application performance.
• Elevate websites with interactive elements to web projects when needed
• Work seamlessly with design tools (e.g. Figma) to extract assets and specifications, demonstrating an ability to bridge design and development
• Lead complex projects, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely and successful delivery, leveraging strong project management skills.
• Demonstrate a history of developing medium to large-scale websites, applying best practices in SEO and accessibility to enhance user engagement and website performance
• Show an eagerness to keep up with modern web development practices, emerging technologies, and trends, constantly seeking to incorporate innovative solutions into projects
• Work within a project management system to keep all stakeholders apprised of project status

What We're Looking For:

• 7+ years of experience in full-Stack Web development
• Proficient in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js)
• Proficient in back-end technologies
• Experience with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Strong understanding of web application architecture and design patterns
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Understanding of accessibility and web standards

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

• Required fluency reading and speaking English
• Required to attend & participate in virtual meetings weekly
• Required to type and read
• Required to utilize Google Docs, Taskworld, and the internet for 8 hours per day
• Required to structure environment conducive to productivity
• Required to have consistent access to a computer, webcam, and microphone during working hours.
• A dedicated workspace is preferred though not required
