Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, performant, and user-friendly mobile applications for the Sendit platform.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including backend engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver seamless user experiences.
- Implement responsive and visually appealing user interfaces, utilizing modern frameworks and technologies such as Flutter and React.
- Optimize mobile applications for performance, usability, and accessibility.
- Troubleshoot and resolve front-end issues, ensuring a consistent and smooth user experience.
- Participate in code reviews, promoting best practices and high-quality code.
- Continuously learn and stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, contributing to the overall success of the Sendit engineering team.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of professional experience as a Frontend Software Engineer, preferably in the social media, messaging, or mobile app space.
- Strong proficiency in one or more mobile app development frameworks such as Flutter, Swift, or React.
- Experience with designing and implementing responsive and adaptive user interfaces.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating with backend services.
- Understanding of Software Engineering best practices, including design patterns, code quality, testing, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD).
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a strong desire to learn.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Nice-to-haves:
- Experience with real-time communication systems, messaging protocols, or AR/VR technologies.
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
