Rincon Research Corporation seeks a Database/Web Engineer to Support the development and deployment of web applications, both front-end and back-end, using JavaScript, React, Angular, Python, SQLAlchemy, PHP, FastAPI, Oracle and PostgreSQL. In addition, provide support for the design, implementation and maintenance of database systems, including data verification and system efficiency improvements.

What required background will make you successful?
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Science or related field
- Experience in server-side programming languages like Python, PHP, JavaScript (node.js), Java and/or C++
- Experience with front-end technologies like JavaScript, HTML5, XML, and CSS3
- Experience and familiarity with DBMS technologies including Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch and/or MongoDB, as well as caching mechanisms such as Redis and Memcached
- Experience in writing and optimizing SQL
- Experience working in Linux environments
- Experience with Agile software development practices in all stages of the development life cycle.
- Experience with software version control such as SVN, Git, GitLab, BitBucket
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills with the ability to interact directly with customers and engineers
- Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance US Citizenship required
- US CITIZENSHIP REQUIERED
Preferred skills:
- Understanding database design principles, database administration, including backup and recovery, performance tuning and monitoring for Oracle and PostgreSQL
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks and libraries such as Angular, React, Vue and Jquery
- Experience with styling frameworks and libraries such as Bootstrap, Material and Tailwind
- Experience with RESTful API architecture and libraries such as Flask, FastAPI, Laravel
- Experience with ORM technology such as SQLAlchemy, sequelize, knex
- Experience with containerized software deployment environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, Git, GitLab, BitBucket.
- Experience with monitoring and analytical tools such as Grafana and/or Kibana, including configuring dashboards and visualizations
Where is the position located?
This position can be located in any of the following offices: Tucson, AZ; Centennial, CO; Chantilly, VA.

Compensation: Starts at $107k + benefits. Total compensation is based on qualifications and experience.
- Please note this range is specific to employees working in Colorado. Salary ranges for remote candidates working outside of Colorado can be subject to regionalized compensation based on their respective work location.
