What You'll Do
We are looking for a passionate Senior Software Engineer who is proficient in React. Your primary focus will be on developing user interface components and implementing them following well-known React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux). You will ensure that these components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain. You have the opportunity to mentor Junior Engineers while coordinating with the whole team working on different layers of the infrastructure in all phases of SDLC in a fast-paced agile setup.
This position is in office three days per week, and located in Salt Lake City, UT

• Participate in peer mentorship, drive front-end architecture, and help team perform story point estimations
• Write reusable, testable, and efficient code
• Develop new user-facing features using React.js
• Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
• Translate designs and wireframes into high quality code
• Optimize components for high performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
• Implement software enhancements and suggest improvements
• Implementation of security and data protection
• Performance tuning, improvement, balancing, usability, automation
• Collaborate with UI/UX Designers, Product Owners, and Architects to understand end user requirements and provide technical solutions for the implementation of new software features
• Basic understanding of back-end technologies - Java or Python
• Experience working on 3D rendering
• Ability to work with browser offline storage capabilities

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline highly preferred. Equivalent years of experience considered.
• Experience or interest leading and mentoring junior developers
• 5 years of experience as a Front-end/Backend Developer using React on an Agile scrum development team
• 3 years of experience building interfaces in React.js , Javascript or similar JS Framework
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
• Through understand of React.js and it core principles
• Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux) or similar
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms - JSON Web Token
• Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and test frameworks - Jest or Jasmine
• Experience with common front-end development tools - Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate into technical requirements
• A knack for benchmarking and optimization
• Familiarity with code versioning tools - Git, SVN, and Mercurial
• Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming concepts
