- Solid DevOps knowledge and expertise, DevSecOps is even better
- Familiar with git and related stacks (e.g., GitHub)
- Laravel framework knowledge and best practices. Understanding the whole Laravel stack like the back of your hand is key
- Ability to identify and implement relevant Laravel packages that can support and streamline the development process. Understanding security considerations and code reviewing before implementation is a must.
- Vue.js (front end) experience
- Inertia experience (https://inertiajs.com/)
- Package manager experience (incl. node, composer, npm)
- Vite knowledge (asset bundler for Laravel)
- Tailwind CSS general knowledge, ability to copy and modify preexisting code from https://tailwindui.com/ can be beneficial
- Understanding of fundamental security considerations, best practices, and the evolution of security threats (esp. in regards to PHP based applications)
- Graph API knowledge (Facebook/Instagram)
- Google Ads API knowledge
- Ability to design and implement REST API in a logical manner for external vendors/providers/clients to integrate into other platforms
- Error handling, tracking, debugging
- Unit testing
- Ability to write effective documentation that someone with no prior knowledge can look at and understand the various functions of the program and how they operate
- Redis experience for caching
- PHP 8 JIT compilation experience
- Basic CloudFlare knowledge
- Code refactoring & optimization
