We are a new start-up with a couple products already designed and ready to code.  We are in the process of designing a third product for the investigative markets, this one also built on Big Data and Decisioning Science technologies. Named InteliMax SAFE™, this product offers patrol operations personnel and investigators dramatic advancement in both data and analytics for resolving investigations.

We are seeking a senior Full Stack Developer to become an integral part of our team! You will be responsible for creating and modifying computer application software or specialized utility programs.

We are looking for seasoned Angular Developers who are motivated to combine the art of design with the science of programming. Responsibilities will include implementing visual elements and their behaviors with user interactions. As an Independent Contractor (IC) Full-Stack Engineer (FSE) you will work part-time on the front-end of DG6 and part-time on the backend, interacting dynamically with other FSE’s to build all client-side logic. You will bridge the gap between the visual elements and the server-side infrastructure, taking an active role on both sides, and defining how the application looks and functions.

We want strong self-starters who can translate ideas into practical implementations. Since we are a small team with each member wearing many hats, you will be required to “fill in the gaps” on specific Angular details and regularly interface with the business team to scope/define the technical requirements yourself, along with projecting your own timelines for completion.

The InteliMax DG6 project is expected to require 40 hrs/week for 20 weeks from three FSE’s and InteliMax will pay market-competitive rates, including a bonus for early completion. Though this initial contract is for completion of v1 of the DG6 product, more work will be made available pending market introduction.

General Responsibilities

- Primary: Refine and finish the front-ends and back-ends of DG6, many Parts substantially complete at this time, allowing the knitting of all functional modules together into an 18-Part solution set application.

- Develop new features from business requirements.

- Build reusable code for future use.

- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.

- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.

- Learn and maintain existing code bases for other products (also in Angular in the same repository as a large, enterprise-scale app).

Technical Skills and General Qualifications

- Strong understanding of and experience with Angular (17.21), TypeScript, and its ecosystem, including Angular architecture, modules, components, services, dependency injection, observables with RxJS, Reactive Forms, directives, pipes, lazy loading, URL routing, HTTP module, guards, rendering, unit testing with Jest, npm, and basic NodeJS.

- Strong understanding of general web development principles, such as asynchronous request handling, page speed performance, and back-end communication via HTTP/REST.

- Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around such issues.

- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.

- The ability to adapt and change features on-the-fly due to business needs. In startups, you’re always learning and adapting!

Specific Qualifications:

• Previous experience in software development, computer engineering, or other related fields
• Knowledge of Java, Python, or other programming languages
• Familiarity with relational databases such as MySQL, Oracle, and SQL Server
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
