Full Stack Developer Role Overview
GA is seeking a Full Stack Developer to join GA's Development team and build the next generation of data analysis infrastructure and tools in the political space.
We are looking for someone with the following abilities:

- Proactive Problem Solving: Identify and develop solutions to challenges, constantly looking at big-picture progress, and flagging any potential upcoming challenges in the organization overall

- Cooperation: Work together with analysts and other team members to effectively achieve our collective goals
Responsibilities
- Manage the complete software development process from conception to deployment
- Maintain and upgrade the software following deployment (e.g. website maintenance, enhancements, ensure responsiveness)
- Utilize GA employee feedback on building and testing internal/external facing tools
- Collaborate with and mentor other team members in their development
- Provide updates during the monthly corporate report and board meetings
- Design client-side and server-side architecture
- Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications
- Write effective APIs when/if necessary
- Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
- Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
- Create security and data protection settings
- Write technical documentation
- Collaborate with GA data team to improve software
- Develop a functional and appealing web-based/front-end application based on usability and appealing visual design
- Stay abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience
- Experience building and maintaining web applications
- Experience building RESTful APIs
- Experience with the following technologies:
- Python (Django, Pandas)
- HTML/CSS/Javascript/Vue/React
- SQL
- Google Cloud Infrastructure
- Experience with CI/CD frameworks, testing, monitoring, alerting
- Experience with political CRMs (NGP, EveryAction, ActionKit, Campaign Deputy, Universe, etc) and other tools beneficial as well
Compensation
- Expected $100k+ total compensation annually (base + cash/equity bonus) based on experience
