Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and maintain software applications using Java 8+ and related technologies.
- Design and implement RESTful web services to support our applications.
- Write unit, integration, and component tests using JUnit and Mockito.
- Work with SQL databases to manage and query data.
- Collaborate with the team using Git for version control.
- Build and manage projects using Maven and Gradle.
- Contribute to web development projects using HTML, JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS/SCSS, and React.
- Implement messaging solutions using JMS, such as Apache ActiveMQ.
- Utilize Jest and enzyme for frontend testing.
- Participate in DevOps practices and support Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Provide technical expertise and mentorship to junior developers.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of relevant work experience with React / Java Spring Boot.
- Experience with RESTful web services.
- Proficiency in unit, integration, and component testing using JUnit and Mockito.
- Knowledge of SQL databases and database design.
- Familiarity with Git for version control.
- Experience with build tools like Maven and Gradle.
- Understanding of messaging systems like JMS, e.g., Apache ActiveMQ.
- Frontend testing using Jest and enzyme.
- Familiarity with DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines.
