SalaryFlexStaff is seeking an Full Charge Accountant for our client's team, a marketing company in Woodbury. This person will handle all A/P and A/R duties, process/pay invoices, bill clients, generate reports, handle payroll, run credit checks, follow up on collections, reconcile bank statements, file taxes, handle 401K, and work with outside accounting firm. Must be detailed, accurate, task-oriented, proficient in Excel, expert in QuickBooks, MS Office, and accounting procedures. This is a one-person department.
Responsibilities
- Handle the daily operations of the Accounting Department
- Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce various financial reports and statements
- Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles
- Coordinate and complete annual audits
- Provide recommendations and improve systems, procedures and initiate corrective actions
- Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions
Requirements
- Proven working experience as Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor or Finance Manager
- Expert on QuickBooks, Excel, MS Office
- Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- BS degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum 5 years work experience in this field.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
