Essential Responsibilities:
- Safely fuel and service heavy equipment as required and directed
- Complete equipment inspections, report repairs required and assist in scheduling repairs
- Operate fuel/service truck safely and efficiently
- Assist in maintaining inventory of service kits, lubes, oils, and other supplies
- Coordinate equipment service activities with production and maintenance team members
- Supports Mechanics with repairs of heavy equipment
- Communicate effectively and professionally with other team members
- Be a leader of both safety and production for the team by ensuring compliance with all company, client, and legislated safety policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Minimum one year of experience as a Lube Technician on mining equipment
- Knowledge of parts and servicing of Cat, Hitachi & Komatsu equipment
- Must have and maintain a driver's license
- MSHA p.48 metal/nonmetal ticket is required; training and support is provided to obtain or update certificates if needed.
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
Work Conditions:
- Rotation of 5/4, 12-hour day shifts; night shifts may be required
- Ability to work overtime if required
- Employee benefits package and 401k plan participation offered after 60 days of continuous employment
